A while ago i heard this story and i always wondered the look of the condo to merit that much. Ladies and Gentlemen i present to you an $88 million dollar apartment in New York city.
.
Former Citigroup chairman Sandy Weill sold his 6,744-sq-ft apartment at 15 Central Park West for an astonishing $88 million, promising to donate the proceeds of the sale to charity - Weill originally bought this condo with his wife for $44.2 million. Ekaterina Rybolovleva, the 22-year-old daughter of Russian billionaire Dmitriy Rybolovlev bought the condominium. Rybolovleva who studies in an undisclosed U.S. university plans on to staying in the apartment when visiting NYC. (Ekaterina would you let me house sit for you? LOL since you are not there most of the time). Mr. Dmitry Rybolovlev, is the 93rd richest person in the world, with a net worth of around $9.5 billion. He owns one of Russia’s largest fertilizer manufacturers, OAO Uralkali.
.
According to a source familiar with the sale, she paid the full asking price of $88 million setting a record for highest individual transaction in New York City history.
