MY LIFE: SMALL FISH IN A BIG SEA

I was warned before hand and yes I am experiencing it. What- you might ask?
.
The feeling like a small tiny fish in a big ocean. Like a new kid in elementary school with no friends :) - I mean this isnt so new to me because thus far i have had plenty trying to get my foot into the textile and home decor industry and trying to seek advice as i stated in my post here . There are so many beautiful design blogs out there and I am very inspired by a lot of them. I have reach out to a few since i started this blog to say "Hello, am a great follower of your blog, maybe sometime stop by my new blog". I only ask once cos I dont want to come across as a stalker.
.
Thus far i have had the several rejections by some big time bloggers, I can see the cliques of the big dawgs, the silent treatment to my emails asking small/simple questions and what not. I guess that comes with the territory as a newbie on the blog zone. Please someone pinch me if i ever do that.  Yes i am a newbie now, but "IF" i ever become a big time blogger some day, I will do just as i did when I was 8yrs old on the play ground in school always being the first to reach out to that new shy girl in the corner whom no one will speak to. It doesnt take but a minute to say hello - even to a newbie - and especially if they told you "You Inspire them".
.
Thanks to Design Chic for complimenting my sneek peek designs, Melanie Duncan of Entrepreneuress Academy and Jen Ramos of MadeByGirl for reaching out and responding to me to make me feel I at least exist. You dont know how much this means to me cos sometimes i have felt like giving up on the blogging cos I feel so much like a tiny fish in a big sea and that no one might care to read my blog. I am honoured and I am grateful and I will not give up nor let my handful of readers down. I will hold on to my faith of making this blog interesting enough and most importantly getting people inspired to design their spaces by bringing all the fab photos- which is my goal.
.
Just thought i'd put this out there - because am sure some newbies have felt the same. You are not alone - dont feel bad. Keep the hope Alive :).
.
Does any blogger (established or newbie) have any inspiring stories for when they started? did you feel rejected in the "Industry" - be it blogging or whatever industry you are in. Maybe your story my inspire plenty of us.
